Join us for a volunteer weekend focused on giving the park a facelift before the fall event season. We'll spend two days cleaning up and refreshing the Rec Center's ground material — plus staining fence boards, sprucing up the garden beds, and cleaning up the conex exteriors.
Our grounds take a beating over a busy season. Before the fall event calendar fills up, we're pulling together a volunteer crew to give the park a facelift — starting with a full cleanup and refresh of the Rec Center's ground material.
One weekend, one crew, and a whole lot of elbow grease. Pitch in for a day or the full weekend and leave your mark on the spaces every MERUS visitor sees.

No experience required — just a willingness to work. We'll match you to jobs that fit your skills, from rakes to paintbrushes.
The big one for the weekend: clearing out, regrading, and refreshing the Rec Center's ground material so it's clean, level, and event-ready for fall.
Sand, prep, and stain the fence boards so they're weather-ready and looking sharp heading into the season.
Weed and replant the garden beds to bring some color and order back to the grounds.
Wash down and tidy up the conex container exteriors so they look crisp and cared-for.
